Graduating high school I had no idea what career I wanted to pursue in life, so I began college by taking general education classes. During the first year, my major changed from nursing to dietetics, but I soon realized I had no interest in science. I decided to switch my major to business instead, and I was back in the same place I was when I graduated high school. After a kick in the butt by my dad, I knew I had to choose a career path and began thinking about my future.

A career in the music industry came to me one day when I came to the realization that I had a multitude of business courses under my belt and a very strong enthusiasm for music. And then a career hit me. I wanted to manage artists and bands in country music. Since I could not afford to switch universities and major in Music Business, I chose to major in Business Management.

After graduating in May of 2016 with a degree in Business Management, I started looking for a job around my hometown. Six months later, I landed a job at Zimmer Radio and Marketing Group. I am currently an on-air talent for Clear 99. Each September I also volunteer for the Roots N Blues N BBQ Festival in Columbia, Missouri.
